Do Not Disturb

Using the do-not-disturb option to stop notifications

Updated over a week ago

For the times you need to limit all distractions, the Blink app offers the option to enter a “Do Not Disturb” status.

Blink is already excellent at letting you choose what's important to you but, for those moments you absolutely need to guarantee some quiet time, why not enable Do Not Disturb?

Turn on "Do Not Disturb" on desktop:

1. Select the settings gear in the bottom left corner.

2. Click on Edit Preferences

3. In the section labeled “Do Not Disturb,” slide the toggle next to “Enable do not disturb” to the right.

4. If you haven’t previously, set your timezone based on your current location. For assistance setting your timezone, please see How to set or change your timezone

5. Set the times from when you don't want to be disturbed and tap “save changes” at the bottom of the screen. You will automatically be shown in do not disturb status during the requested times.

Turn on "Do Not Disturb" on mobile:

1. Open the settings page through the gear in the bottom right corner.

2. Scroll down to the Notifications section and open Do Not Disturb

3. Enable Do Not Disturb

4. Set your timezone based on your current location. For assistance setting your timezone, please see How to set or change your timezone

5. Set the times from when you don't want to be disturbed. You will automatically be shown in "do not disturb" status during the requested times.

🌟 You can update these preferences at any time. Changes will be applied across all devices you are signed in on.
