Blinks Feed and Hub can be personalized based on a users' Team assignment. The Chat feature can also be personalized by Team through the use of channels.
Creating a Team
Go to 'Admin Panel' - only Admins can access this via desktop
'Admin Panel' will open in a secondary tab
Scroll to Teams
Select ‘(+) Create a Team’
Name your Team for the users you will be inviting. Some Teams we see across our clients are:
Location/site-level, e.g. New York, London, Sydney employees
Function, e.g. Senior Management, HR & Operations, IT, your Frontline’s job titles
Projects for cross-functional Teams, e.g. Diversity & Inclusion
Creating a Channel
Please note, you must be a team admin in order to create a Channel.
Go to the Blink app
Select Directory
Select the ‘Team’ tab - Channels are discoverable and accessible from all users that are within this Team
Select the Team you’d like to create a Channel for
Select (+) ‘Create Channel’
Choose a title, e.g. “New Starters”, Frontline job title, and description for context.
If you only want specific users from the Team you’ve selected to see this Channel, select followers from the drop-down
If you want everyone in the Team to see this Channel, leave this blank
Select Create
Upload an image relevant to your Channel, and choose Channel settings
