Promote to the Feed now or later
Once your event is created, you will be asked if you want to promote your event in the Feed.
You can choose to do this now or later. If you do it now, your audience will receive your post in their main Feed which will direct them to your event homepage.
If you do this later, your audience can still discover your event in their Events page, but you won’t be promoting it to them until you choose to do so.
Your dedicated promo card
Use the dedicated event promo card when promoting your event to the Feed or when setting up event reminders.
> Click the 3 dots menu top right of your event page
> Select Promote in the Feed
> Add copy alongside your event promo card
> Share with your event audience
Schedule event reminders
Use the post planner to schedule reminders and comms for your audience.
> Promote to the Feed (above)
> Post Settings via the cog icon
> Set-up as many reminders as you like
This gives you full assurance that your audience is notified and reminded of the event at the right times.
Audience members who have rsvp’d ‘No’ won’t get the reminders.
Engage your audience on your dedicated events page
Use the share box on your events page to post updates to your audience. This is a fantastic way to help your event gain momentum and engage with your audience, pre-event and post-event.
> Only the Host can post to the event Feed
> Allow comments so your audience can interact
> Posts are sent to the main Feed and event Feed
Feature your event in the main Feed
Give your event centre stage on the main Feed by featuring it for a preferred duration.
This will help give your event more visibility and direct your audience to your event.
> Use the dedicated promo card via ‘Promote to the Feed’ (above)
> Post Settings via the cog icon
> Feature post
> Set the duration
Share event link with audience members
On your event homepage, use the 3 dots menu top right to get the share link and share this with individuals or groups within your event audience. This is a great way to invite with a more personal touch. You could send this via a chat, channel, or feed post.
Remember to only share it with your designated audience!
