Below we've included a basic introduction for you to get started in Blink.

1. 🎨 Complete your profile
Click on your profile icon and then ‘Edit profile’. Here you can edit your personal profile details, add a picture, choose your notification settings and Do Not Disturb (DND) window.
2. 👥 Invite your colleagues
Blink is nothing without people. Click on the ⚙️ icon to access the Admin area of Blink. Then head to ‘Users’ under ‘Blink Identity’ to invite one or more colleagues to Blink. A shortcut to ‘Users’ is also here.
3. 💬 Create a Chat
Separate your personal and professional conversations by using Chats, our private messaging module. Create 1-2-1 or Group Chats to safely share work-sensitive information.
Tip: Whilst in a Chat, click the "+" button next to the message box for fun Super Powers like sending GIFs and confetti, as well as functional options including sharing documents.
4. ✍️ Share a Feed post
Select 'Share a post with your team' when in the Feed. Use the rich text editor to make your post look great, and add any relevant photos or videos.
Some ideas are:
Morning/team briefings
Overtime requests or scheduling changes
Recognize a colleague
Welcome a new starter
Try out our Blink Assist AI tool to help you write your post by clicking on the icon in the window. You can prompt Blink Assist to either write a new post or improve a post, and shape it to preference. When you’re happy with your text, you can use that as an editable draft for your post.
5. 📚 Access what YOU need via the Hub
Access is everything in Blink. Store your company’s key systems, content, resources and policies in our Hub module.
Click on the ⚙️ icon to access the Admin area of Blink. Then go to ‘Hub’ under ‘Content Studio’ to bring up the editor. Add any content your employees would find useful to have in one place.
Some ideas might be:
A shortcut to your HR system
A new starter feedback form
A Blink page of your health and safety policy
A welcome video from your CEO
