How do I edit my profile?

 This article will show you the best way to get your profile looking as great as it can be!

You can edit your profile on both your mobile or your desktop.

To do this on your mobile you should:

  1. Open Blink
  2. Go to the settings page
  3. Click on Edit Profile
  4. Change your details as needed

To do this on your desktop you should:

  1. Open Blink 
  2. Press the settings cog
  3. Press Edit Profile
  4. Change your details as needed

Don't forget to save!

Whenever you have made any changes, make sure you remember to hit Save!

Your profile tells everyone about YOU! You can share as much or as little information as you'd like to. Updating your profile is simple and you can edit/update it whenever you like! To edit your profile you need to click on the Settings cog in the menu bar (on the left-hand side on our web and desktop app, and along the bottom of your screen on our Blink mobile app).  You then need to select Edit profile and this will take you to your Personal profile. 

Within your profile, you can edit your:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Job Title
  • Line Manager
  • Department
  • Location
  • About me
  • Contact details

When you're in your personal profile, you can also change your profile picture. All you need to do is click on your profile image, choose or take a new photo, move and scale the photo, and then click Done or Save

You may like to know...

You can choose whether to show or hide your contact details at any point, and only people you're connected to can see your full profile.

Why are some fields Padlocked?

Some fields will be locked. This is due to your User Privileges that are set to by your Organisation. This was done to avoid changes to your profile as those fields are important for identification!
