Set up your broadcast environment
OBS allows you to configure exactly what you want to show on your stream, and has a drag-and-drop interface for arranging inputs on your broadcast.
See their help articles to get it set up how you wish.
Configure OBS for streaming
Open OBS Studio and click the “Settings” button in the bottom-right corner.
Navigate to the Stream section in the settings menu.
Under Service, select Custom… from the dropdown menu.
Paste the RTMP URL you copied from Blink into the Server field. These are provided when you add a live stream to your feed post. (Link to top-level help doc). You can find these again on the feed post itself, or in the Post Planner for scheduled posts.
Paste the Stream Key into the Stream Key field.
Click OK to save your settings.
Start broadcasting
Once your sources are set up, click Start Streaming at the bottom-right of OBS.
OBS will connect to Blink, and within approx. 30 seconds your live broadcast will begin streaming to your audience!
