This feature allows preboarders to join Blink ahead of their start date with reduced access to content. This is a helpful feature for organization who want to be able to get users started on Blink as soon as possible and are able to facilitate the data needed as outlined below.

How do PreBoarding Journeys work
To use this feature, users must be identified as ‘Preboarder’ in their user sync, which maps to a custom field. Accounts will be created for these users as any other user, but their status as a ‘Preboarder’ will dictate which teams content they access in Blink through dynamic team rules
We must be able to know the users anticipated start date, as this is used to trigger journeys and exclude them from teams via exclusion rules. Exclusion rules are added to teams to exclude preboarder status, and a Preboarder team must be created. Preboarder journeys are created targeting this Preboarder team, and using the ‘before date’ trigger.
How to set this up
Create a team using dynamic rules for users with custom field of ‘Preboarder’
Target your journeys to this audience
Make use of the ‘before’ trigger on start date in order to create a journey for these users to follow in advance of starting
In a single journey, create steps for both managers and the relevant employees

Good to know
Your organization needs to define the preboarder status/field on your side via your user sync and provide a start date in the future. This is necessary as we will still need to create an account for users per the typical process.
Dynamic team rules are used to exclude and include teams to control the content that they can see and interact with on Blink. This article has more information about dynamic teams which may be helpful in setting up your preboarder journey.
Once the start date has elapsed, preboarder status is automatically removed thus granting the user access to relevant content on Blink beyond what they could see as a preboarder
