We’ve updated the chat interface to make conversations more visually engaging and aligned with your organization’s branding.

The new chat bubbles and color palette create a cleaner, more modern experience, while ensuring accessibility and readability across all devices.

Chat Bubbles

Our redesigned chat bubbles are now the default appearance across all chats.

  • The new bubble design gives chats a more modern and polished look.

  • On Web, chat bubbles are left-aligned to make conversations easier to follow, reducing visual strain on larger screens.

Color Updates

We’ve also refreshed the color palette within chats to better reflect your company’s visual identity.

If You Haven’t Set Up Custom Branding

If You Have Company Branding Enabled

Your chat interface will automatically use the Blink green palette as the default color scheme.

When your organisation has a primary brand color set in the Customisation area of the Admin Panel, chat colors will automatically adapt. These color combinations are automatically optimized to ensure text is always clear and easy to read.

  • The chat background and chat bubbles will be generated from hues of your primary brand color.

  • This ensures all colors complement your brand while maintaining readability and accessibility.

  • Can you change these colours?
    These colour combinations are automatically optimised to ensure text is always clear and easy to read. And you cannot change them in the admin panel

  • How are the coloured names generated?
    They are automatically generated and randomized across all chats, so admins have no control over this.

  • Can I turn chat bubbles off?
    No, the new chat bubbles are automatically applied and cannot be turned off.
