Overview
User Provisioning provides administrators a real-time view of automated user data synchronization between your HR/identity source and Blink. Each time Blink imports user data from a connected source, a sync run is recorded with its status, duration, and logs (when available).
You can use User Provisioning to:
Monitor sync history (past and in-progress runs)
Filter and sort runs by date range, source, configuration, and status
Download logs (CSV/XLSX) for completed runs to investigate results or errors
Getting access
To access User Provisioning:
Your organisation must have User Provisioning enabled.
You must be an Organisation Administrator or People Administrator.
You must be set up on the User Sync Service.
Supported sync types
Static file (CSV or XLSX) via SFTP
Workday
Google Workspace
If your user sync was set up on or after 1 February 2026, you are most likely already on the User Sync Service and you should have access to this in your admin panel. If your sync predates this, we will need to migrate you across before you can use this feature. We will be migrating all existing sync configs over the coming months. If you’d like to get access to this sooner, please contact Support or Customer success representative and we can prioritise your organisation.
If you can’t see User Provisioning
If you believe you should have access but can’t see User Provisioning in the sidebar:
Contact your Blink account team to enable it for your organisation.
Where to find it
In the Admin Panel sidebar, go to Blink Identity → User Provisioning.
How sync runs are displayed
Each row represents a sync run and typically includes:
Start time / date
Source connector (e.g., Google Workspace, Workday, SFTP Sync)
Configuration (if multiple are set up)
Status
Download option (only for some completed outcomes)
Filtering and sorting
At the top of the Syncs page, you can narrow down results using:
Date range: All Time, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, or Custom
Sort order: Newest first (default) or Oldest first
Configuration: Filter by a specific sync configuration name (most orgs have one; use this if you have multiple, e.g., Google and Workday)
Status: Filter by one or more sync statuses
Active filters appear as pills. Select Clear filters to reset all filters.
