Deactivating Users

Blink admins are able to delete or remove user accounts as needed.

Updated over a week ago

Blink administrators have permission to deactivate users' accounts. Whose account you can deactivate is based on your own permissions. Organizations with User Provisioning (SCIM) enabled will require the users to be deactivated from that service.

⚠️ Troubleshooting

How is this information used?

This data is used to help identify issues that lead to regrettable leavers.

Who can see this information?

The last day is shown on the profile to all admins. Reasons for leaving will only be visible to organization administrators.

What should I do if I'm unsure?

If you’re ever unsure how to use this screen, please contact your manager or HR department for guidance.

Will any of their content still be visible once the profile is deactivated?

Yes. Any Feed posts the user has made as well as messages they've sent would still be visible even once their profile has been deactivated unless the user deletes this content themselves prior to the account being deactivated.
