If there are too many featured posts in the main feed, it could dampen down the importance of it, and reduce the amount of people reading them.
As an Org Admin, you can select which groups should be able to have their featured posts appear in the carousel on the main feed.
How to configure featured posts
This can be found in Admin panel > Org Setup > Featured posts > Restrict which groups are featured on the Home page
The groups that are not selected can still feature their posts, but it will ONLY appear in their specific group’s page. It will not appear in the main Home page.
Additionally, an Org admin can choose to not have any groups be able to feature their posts on the Home page. This can be useful in the initial launch of a customer, so that the comms team has complete control of the carousel, and can plan a rollout plan for featured posts.
To set this up, the Org admin simply has to toggle ‘Restrict which groups are featured on the Home page’, and leave the ‘Select groups’ blank and then ‘Save changes’.
