Updated over a year ago

What is an Org Admin?

Org Admins have access to every section of the Blink Admin Portal, all the Teams, and have visibility of all content shared on the Feed and in the Hub.

โ„น๏ธ The Blink Admin Portal is accessible from a computer via the desktop app or by visiting www.admin.joinblink.com - this link can also be accessed on a tablet.

๐Ÿ“‘ Feed Content

You can moderate the Feed as well as create Featured and Priority posts. These types of posts are given a boost so that they stand out from everything else in the Feed, helping important updates get seen.

๐Ÿ“š Hub Content

Org Admins can add, edit, replace and remove content from the Hub via Blink Admin for ALL teams and users. You can make sure that everyone within your organization has access to the latest information and tools that they need.

๐Ÿ“– Mandatory Reads

When Org Admins need to know that users have read and understood important information, Mandatory Reads give them a paper trail of who has received and read their update, and who has and hasnโ€™t acknowledged it.

๐Ÿ’ Company Settings

You have the access to decide on your authentication option(s), billing settings, and key contents in the admin portal. Org admins can also change the branding in your Blink environment by adding logos, colors, and images in the Company section of the Admin portal.

๐Ÿ‘ช Users & Teams

Org Admins can invite, edit and disable user accounts in the User section of the Admin Portal. They can also bulk import users to the platform via our user import template.

You also have access to Create and delete Teams, manage their membership in the Teams section of the Admin Portal, select user privileges and assign user roles and permissions to any user across the organization.

๐Ÿ’ก Helpful Hint

Need assistance moderating your Blink environment? You can assign basic users the role of Content Moderator or Team Administrator to help keep everything running smoothly.

๐Ÿ’น Activity & Engagement

The Analytics section of the Admin Portal helps you track adoption and engagement via activity data from across the platform as shown below:

This view will help you stay on top of what types of content your users are engaging with the most, track overall app adoption and usage, and monitor feed and hub content for any issues all in one convenient view.

๐Ÿ” Additionally, you, as an Org Admin, have access to the audit log which tracks all activity within the Blink app. For security purposes, only Org Admins have access to the audit log, and can request the retrieval of further information, if necessary, via our 2-step authorization process.
