Who can use this feature?

Blink Assist is available on the Blink Desktop and Web apps and is unrestricted, meaning that all users can benefit from it.

What is Blink Assist?

When you want to share something on the feed but you're not quite sure how best to phrase it, or you want a helping hand with tone, to make the message more concise Blink Assist is here to help.

Using Blink Assist to improve a post

  1. Open the post box and click on the Blink assist button in the bottom right-hand corner.

  2. You will then be presented with two options. Select Improve my post.

  3. Paste the post you want to improve into the text box, then select how you would like Blink Assist to improve it.

  4. In this example, we selected to make the tone Friendly. Blink Assist will suggest a new post using engaging and friendlier language

  5. You can continue to adjust the tone and refine your message. As soon as you're happy with the proposed post, click Apply. The post will be added to the Blink post box where you can add images, documents, and videos, format the post, and adjust post settings until you're ready to press send.

Using Blink Assist to Write a new post

  1. Open the post box and click on the Blink assist button in the bottom right-hand corner.

  2. You will then be presented with two options. Select Write a new post.

  3. In the text box, write a prompt for Blink Assist to work from. Write as much or as little as you want and then select the type of post you want to create.

    The more detailed the prompt, the better the proposal will be.

Once Blink Assist has written your post, you can adjust the tone or refine the suggestion. Once you're happy, click Apply. The post will be added to the Blink post box where you can add images, documents, and videos, format the post, and adjust post settings until you're ready to press send.
