Who can use this feature?

Blink Assist is available on the Blink Desktop, Web, and Mobile apps and is unrestricted, meaning that all users can benefit from it.

What is Blink Assist?

When you want to share something on the feed but you're not quite sure how best to phrase it, or you want a helping hand with tone, to make the message more concise Blink Assist is here to help.

Using Blink Assist to improve a post

Open the post box and click on the Blink assist button in the bottom right-hand corner.
You will then be presented with two options. Select Improve my post.
Paste the post you want to improve into the text box, then select how you would like Blink Assist to improve it.
In this example, we selected to make the tone Friendly. Blink Assist will suggest a new post using engaging and friendlier language
You can continue to adjust the tone and refine your message. As soon as you're happy with the proposed post, click Apply. The post will be added to the Blink post box where you can add images, documents, and videos, format the post, and adjust post settings until you're ready to press send.

Using Blink Assist to Write a new post

Open the post box and click on the Blink assist button in the bottom right-hand corner.
You will then be presented with two options. Select Write a new post.
Write a prompt for Blink Assist to work from in the text box. Write as much or as little as you want and then select the type of post you want to create.

The more detailed the prompt, the better the proposal will be.

Once Blink Assist has written your post, you can adjust the tone or refine the suggestion. Once you're happy, click Apply. The post will be added to the Blink post box where you can add images, documents, and videos, format the post, and adjust post settings until you're ready to press send.

Using Blink Assist to create a summary of other posts

Open the post box and click on the Blink assist button in the bottom right-hand corner.
You will then be presented with two options. Select Summarise Feed posts.
Click on Add posts at the bottom of each post to select up to five posts that you want to summarise.
Once you've selected your posts, click Generate
A summary of your selected posts will be generated. You can tap on any post to regenerate just that part of the message. Once you're happy, click Use text
Your summary will be added to the post box with links to the original posts. From here, you can make any final amendments before sharing your summary.

Yes, Blink Assist is available on mobile, web, and desktop instances.

How is Blink Assist powered?

Blink Assist utilises Azure OpenAI GPT 3.5 Turbo model to provide suggestions on alternatives or improvements on the inserted text.

Is data fed into an llm model?

Data is not utilised by Azure to feed into their llm model.

Who receives data from Blink Assist?

Messages composed and updated with Blink Assist are stored within Blink.

Data is not shared with other Azure customers
Data is not available to Azure OpenAI
Data is not used to improve OpenAI models
Our finetuned Azure OpenAI models are only available to us

Can Blink Assist be turned off?
