Introduction

This integration allows you to share Blink Feed posts across to teams. Once configured, your team will be able to share a post from the Feed across into Teams. Presently, this can only be done for posted content (i.e. the Feed post needs to already be published in Blink before it can be shared in Teams).

The "starting a Teams chat from Blink” integration must be set up in conjunction with “Sharing Blink feed posts to Teams”. Thes two parts are synonymous with each other, meaning you can’t turn on one without the other.

Using MS Teams Integration

Once a feed post has been posted to the feed, you will be able to select the option to “Share on Teams” from the dropdown in the top right-hand corner of the feed post.​

Once this button has been clicked, a popup will appear for you to be able to select where/who you would like to share it with in Teams.

⚠️ Limitations

  • The email addresses in Blink must match the UPNs in MS.

  • This integration is currently only available for the Webapp and Desktop Apps.

  • Is this feature available to anyone?

    • Yes - it needs to be turned on manually for each organization though, so please submit a ticket to our support team.

  • Is it available on all platforms?

    • This feature is currently only available on Web & Desktop.

  • Is it possible to set up just this integration and not others?

    • Yes, this integration can be configured independently of other MS Teams integrations.
