There is so much to explore in Blink IQ’s library of advanced Usage dashboards. Your organisation is engaging with Blink every day, and their interactions on the platform generate rich insights you can leverage to achieve your chosen business outcomes.

Usage dashboards give you insight on every core area of the Blink platform:

Usage Overview

The Usage Overview is where you can monitor how much your employees are accessing the Blink app in general. It helps you answer questions like:

  • What is the organisation’s rate of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Active Users?

  • How many days are users active on the app per month?

  • What is the most used area of the platform?

  • Are users accessing Blink through the mobile app, the desktop, or both?

  • Who are the most active users on the platform?

Feed

The Feed Usage dashboard gives you insight into how the Blink Feed is being used by your organisation. It helps you answer questions like:

  • What is the volume of feed posts, comments, and reactions over time?

  • What proportion of the organisation is engaged on the feed, and how has this changed over time?

  • How many feed posts are users receiving each day?

  • What is the reach of feed posts? (Reach is defined as the percentage of your audience that have viewed a given feed post)

  • What are the top performing posts?

  • What is the best and worst time to post to the feed for optimal reach?

  • Which posts are receiving the most engagement (reactions and comments)?

Chat

You can find out more about how your users are engaging with each other on the Blink Chat by looking at the Chat Usage dashboard. It helps you answer questions like:

  • What proportion of the organisation is sending chat messages, and how has this changed over time?

  • How many chat messages are being sent?

  • Do people use direct messages or group chats?

  • Which channels are most and least utilised?

Hub

The Hub is your key static repository of information on Blink, and the Hub Usage dashboard helps you to analyse which Hub items are working, and which need attention. It helps you answer questions like:

  • What proportion of the organisation is opening Hub items?

  • How many Hub items are being opened per user on average?

  • Which Hub items are most and least popular?

  • Which Hub items have rising and falling popularity recently?

  • How can you optimise and clean up your Hub, by removing items that haven’t been opened recently?

Stories

Blink Stories allow users to share photos and videos that disappear after 72 hours. You can monitor how Stories are being used by your Blink org using the Stories Usage dashboard. It helps you answer questions like:

  • What proportion of the organisation is engaging with Stories?

  • How many Stories have been posted in a given time range?

  • How many Stories are users receiving per day on average?

  • How has the volume of Stories increased or decreased over time?

Groups

Groups are fundamental to your users’ experience on the Blink platform. The Groups Usage dashboard gives you insight into Group membership to help you optimise your use of Groups over time. It helps you answer questions like:

  • How many Groups have been set up in the organisation in total?

  • Which Groups have no activated users, and could therefore be cleaned up?

  • Which Groups are inactive, and might not be needed?

Livestreams

Blink Livestreams let you broadcast a live video feed to your user base. The Livestreams Usage dashboard allows you to answer questions like:

  • How many viewers are Livestreams reaching?

  • What was the Reach of recent Livestreams?

  • How many minutes did users watch each livestream on average?

  • What is the breakdown between users viewing the livestream live versus on demand?

Recognition

The recognition micro-app is one of Blink’s most-loved features, allowing users to send thank-you notes and congratulate each other for achievements and special occasions. The Recognition Usage dashboard allows you to answer questions like:

  • How many recognition posts have been sent over a given time period?

  • What are the most and least popular recognition categories?

  • Who are the top recognised employees?

  • How many recognition posts are being sent per week over time?

Leaderboards

The Usage Leaderboards in Blink IQ give you a powerful way to measure how different segments of your organisation are using each feature on the app.

The Leaderboards overview ranks the top posters, commenters, reactors, story sharers, hub viewers, and chat messengers across the organisation or a subset of the organisation, by using filters.

Then, each profile field tab (e.g. Department, Company, Location, Job Title, Manager, Group) allows you to rank different parts of your organisation by how much they are engaging with each feature on Blink. If you are on the Silver or Gold tier of Blink IQ, you can also view Leaderboards for your custom profile fields!
