Blink IQ’s AI trend analysis feature surfaces changes in your data over time, without needing a data analyst!
AI Highlights for an entire dashboard
In the top right hand corner of a dashboard, click the AI Highlights option to generate trend analysis for the data in the entire dashboard at once.
Blink IQ generates the highlights, and a popup lets you know once they’re ready to view. Click View to continue.
Scroll through the highlights to understand recent changes in your data. The AI will categorise changes as Expected or Not Expected, and will list potential reasons to explain why the metric has changed. For example, you may see that your rate of Monthly Active Users has changed, due to an uptick in usage by a specific department in your organisation.
Change analysis for a specific data visualisation
To focus on AI trend analysis for a specific data visualisation on a dashboard, click the trend line under the metric on a dashboard – this usually shows a percentage increase or decrease over time. When you hover over this, you get an option to ‘Run change analysis’.
The Change Analysis will explore the other data points that correlate with the percentage increase or decrease, to suggest what might have driven the change. For example, you may see that the average number of active days per month has increased, driven by a change in the percentage of logins on the mobile app.
