What is this feature?
Org Admins can now edit the copy and attachments of any published Feed post, on behalf of the original author. This is useful when a post has a small error or needs a quick update, and it means posts no longer have to be deleted and resubmitted for a minor fix.
This feature is opt-in at the org level, it won't be switched on for your organisation until an Org Admin enables it, and we recommend letting your employees know before you do.
Group Admins do not have edit access under this feature, editing is limited to Org Admins only.
💡 Before you turn it on: Blink recommends letting your employees know about this change first, perhaps through an internal announcement or a policy update, so they understand that org admins may edit their posts.
Turning it on
This feature is enabled at the org level, in your organisation settings. Once it's switched on, editing becomes available to every Org Admin in your organisation.
Editing a published post
Navigate to the Feed post you want to edit
Open the post options (the three dots)
Select Edit post
Make your changes to the copy or attachments
Save the changes
Editing a post in the approval flow
When reviewing a post in your approval queue, select Edit
Update the copy or attachments as needed
Click Save, then Approve to publish the post

What the author sees
The author gets a notification letting them know their post was edited, including the date and time.
Behind the three-dot menu on the post, the author can see a line noting it was last edited by an Org Admin.
Authors won't see a visual comparison of exactly what changed — they'll need to compare against their memory of the original.
Helpful Hints
Only Org Admins can edit posts this way, Group Admins can't, even for posts they'd normally approve.
We recommend telling your employees this feature is on before you enable it, so edits don't come as a surprise.
