Sending feed posts as email

Send important feed posts as an email

Written by Liv Rafferty

Engage your entire workforce by delivering important feed posts directly to their inbox ensuring critical communications reach everyone, whether they're active on Blink or not.

What is it?

The "Send as Email" feature allows organisation administrators to share feed posts via email after they've been published to Blink. This ensures your important messages reach all employees, including those who may not regularly check the app.

How it works

After publishing a feed post to Blink, admins can choose to send it as an email:

  1. Publish your post as normal

  2. Select the boost option on your published post

  3. Choose "improve the read"

  4. Select "Send via email" option

  5. Decide whether to send to:

    • Only those who haven't seen the post yet, or

    • Everyone in the group, including those who've already viewed it

  6. Confirm and send

The email will automatically be sent to everyone in your selected group using a professionally designed template.

Key features

  • Emails are sent to all active users within the group where the post was published

  • Choose to reach only those who haven't engaged with the post, or send to your entire group

  • View analytics to see how your email performed, including engagement metrics

  • Emails use pre-designed templates that ensure consistent, high-quality delivery

What's included in the email?

Each email contains:

  • A preview of your post (up to 200 characters)

  • A clear call-to-action button directing users back to Blink to view the full content

Availability

This feature is available on a case-by-case basis. Contact your account manager or customer success representative to discuss adding this capability to your organization.
