Customise email invites

Find out how to request a customised email invite template for your organisation, what details our team needs from you (logo, subject line, body copy and images), and what to expect once you've submitted them.

If you'd like to customise the email invitations sent to your organisation, contact your Customer Success Manager or the Blink Support team, and we'll take care of the rest.

What information do we need from you?

To build your custom invitation template, please send us the following:

  • Email logo, ideally with a transparent background

Logo Format Recommendations

PNG for logos or anything with transparency, sharp edges, or text
JPG for photos or anything with lots of colour/gradients, since it compresses better for photographic content

Avoid GIF unless you specifically want animation, since it's not great for detailed or high-colour images

Avoid SVG for email images. It's not reliably supported across email clients

Size Recommendation: around 200–300px wide

  • Subject line, for example "You're invited to join [Company Name] on Blink"

  • Title, the main heading shown at the top of the email

  • Lead paragraph, a short introductory sentence welcoming new members

  • Email body, the main message content, including any key instructions

  • Optional image, a supporting image or banner for the email

Width 600px is the safe standard, since that's the typical maximum width of an email body before scaling

Height can vary depending on use (banner vs logo vs inline image), but keep the file itself no larger than about 1200px wide if you want it to look sharp on retina screens, then let the email client scale it down to 600px display width

  • Please optimise the image before sending it to us, to keep load times fast. You can use Squoosh, which works on any platform, or ImageOptim, which is Mac only.

What happens next

Once we have everything we need, we'll build your template and send you a preview to review. After you've approved it, we'll switch your organisation's invite emails over to the new design.
