As an admin, you can require all employees to complete biometric or passcode authentication every time they open Blink. This is configured from the Admin portal and applies across your entire organisation.
Can I require biometrics for all users in my organisation?
Yes. Go to Admin portal > Authentication tab, scroll to the biometrics section, and toggle it on. The first time users open Blink after this is enabled, they will be prompted to allow biometric access on their device.
🔒 Admin only - you need Organisation Admin permissions to access this setting.
✅ Why this matters
• Protects sensitive company data - ensures no one can access Blink on an unlocked or stolen device, even if the app is already installed.
• Meets security and compliance requirements - a single toggle enforces consistent authentication across your entire workforce.
• No friction for employees - users are prompted once to grant permission, then authenticate with a glance or touch on every open.
⚙️ How do I enable biometrics for my whole organisation?
Go to the Admin portal.
Click the Authentication tab.
Scroll to the biometrics section at the bottom of the page.
Toggle the setting on - the toggle turns blue when active.
Once enabled, the next time each user opens Blink, their device will prompt them to allow biometric access. After granting permission, they will need to complete fingerprint, Face ID, or passcode authentication each time they open the app.
💡 Also protecting Hub content? Biometric requirements for specific Hub pages are configured separately in Hub settings - they are independent of this toggle. See Protected content on the Hub.

Ask the user to try their device passcode first - they can disable Face ID or fingerprint recognition for Blink in their device settings, then reopen the app. If they are still locked out, contact Blink support. We will need to verify the user's identity and work with you to restore their access.
Can I turn this off again after enabling it?
