Blink is available on Android, iOS, desktop, and in any browser. This article covers how to install it on each platform and how to fix common problems.
How do I download Blink?
Open the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) and search for Blink by Blink, then tap Install. For desktop, go to joinblink.com/download. You can also use Blink in any browser at app.joinblink.com without installing anything.
✅ Why it's worth downloading the app
• Everything your company shares with you, in one place - Blink is where your organisation posts news, shares documents, and sends communications. Installing it means you don't miss anything.
• Works on any device - Android, iOS, desktop, and browser. Install on whichever you prefer, or all of them.
• Takes less than a minute - find the app, tap install, sign in. No IT setup needed.

🔧 Troubleshooting
I'm being asked to enter payment details on Google Play
I'm being asked to enter payment details on Google Play
Blink is free for all employees - your organisation pays for the licences. This payment prompt is a Google Play Store pop-up that sometimes appears if you haven't previously added payment details to your account. Tap Skip in the bottom right of the pop-up and Blink will install without any charge.
No apps will install from the Google Play Store
No apps will install from the Google Play Store
This is usually a Google Play Store cache issue. To fix it:
1. Open Settings on your device.
2. Tap Apps, then find and tap Google Play Store in the list.
3. Tap Storage, then tap Clear data and Clear cache. You will not lose any apps or data.
4. Return to the Google Play Store and try installing Blink again.

You'll need to free up space before Blink can install. Try deleting apps you no longer use, or removing photos and videos you have backed up elsewhere. If you'd prefer not to clear space on your phone, you can use Blink through the web browser or the desktop app instead - both work without taking up mobile storage.
